Jammu March 23 :- Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) Jammu & Kashmir commemorated the martyr day and paid floral tributes on the portraits of Bhagat Singh, Sukhdev and Rajguru at party headquarter, Trikuta Nagar.
Former Dy. Chief Minister Kavinder Gupta accompanied by other senior party leaders remembered the signature life of the youth icons and revolutionaries of the patriotic movement during the pre-independence struggle in a programme organized by BJP Sanskriti, Art & Culture Cell’s State Convenor Bharat Bhushan and District Convenor Sahil Mahajan.
Former MLC Ch. Vikram Randhawa, Tilak Raj Gupta, Dr. Pardeep Mahotra, Prof. Kulbhushan Mohtra, Updesh Andotra, Rajiv Charak, Baldev Singh Billawaria, Narinder Singh Bunty, Mohan Singh Rana, Ravinder Jamwal, Sanjay Bakshi, Chetan Wanchoo, Honey singh and other leaders also paid tributes to the great revolutionaries on the occasion.
Kavinder Gupta, while paying tributes stressed that the Nation will be forever indebted to these great warriors. He said that we snatched our freedom from the British by sacrificing uncountable blessed souls. He said that we are proud of our history and we will leave no stone unturned to keep our Nation safe from any evil eye.
“Every single dedicated BJP activist always keeps the Nation first and it is an open secret that BJP activists think and act like a soldier and revolutionist whether the task given is of organization or the Nation”, said Gupta.
Other speakers on the occasion spoke on the life events of martyrs Bhagat Singh, Sukhdev and Rajguru, stressing that India will never forget the supreme sacrifices. Speakers added that Nation is the responsibility of the citizens and these great men proved this by sacrificing their lives for the Nation.
