Jammu Mar 08 :- Today on the occasion of Women Day, Adv. Purnima Sharma, Deputy Mayor, JMC visited Shri Ram Universal School, Jakh to celebrate the occasion with the team of School and cut the cake to celebrate the Women’s Day.
Along with the Deputy Mayor JMC, Smt. Neena Gupta, Hon’ble Corporator was also present there. The Principal of the School, all the teachers, alongwith parents of the Students also participated in the event organized by the school authority. Deputy Mayor also participated in the games like chair games, Quiz competition organized by the School team and also won the chair game.
In the end, Adv. Purnima Sharma, Deputy Mayor, JMC wished a “Happy Women’s Day to all the women’s for being the unsung heroes of our society” and encouraged the parents and teachers to celebrate women’s achievements, raise awareness about women’s equality, focus towards gender equality as equal rights are not special rights so women should have equal rights and motivated them to support women’s in whatever ways possible as it will make the world a better place for women to live in.
