Jammu Feb 23 :- As part of welfare activities Indian Army is regularly conducting variety of projects for the welfare of village population. School is considered to be a temple of education and a second home, which prepares a student for all walks of life, right from building their confidence to making them learn importance of team work and socialisation.
Indian Army conducted Inter School Quiz Competition at Govt High School, Devipur on 23 Feb 2022 in which teams from eight schools of the area participated. All participants were provided with school bags and stationary items as participation prize. Winner and Runners up team were felicitated with medals and trophies. The students dispelled the fear of COVID and participated with full enthusiasm in the competition which was clearly visible with their active participation in the Quiz Competition.
Mr Ganesh Khajuria, Principal, Govt High School, Devipur thanked Indian Army for the conduct of this competition and commented that the competition will motivate the students to excel in studies and will instill in them a sense of pride for the nation. Competition was concluded with a lecture on “How to Join Indian Armed Forces”
