Srinagar, February 21: The enforcement wing of LC&MA carried out a demolition drive in Chodribagh, Abi gurpora inside Lake and Naidyar near the bridge.
During the drive, one single storey house, two plinths one for house and other for three shops and bathroom and tin walling were demolished.
The demolition drive was accompanied by a police contingent from PCR Srinagar and territorial police under the supervision of SHO Rainawari.
Meanwhile, the Vice Chairman Dr. Bashir Ahmad Bhat has directed the field staff not to allow any construction without permission and keep a tight vigil on constructions taking place.
He also directed the general public residing within the LCMA jurisdiction & in lake area not to go for any sort of illegal constructions, encroachments.
