Jammu Feb 18 :- BJP Senior Leader and JMC Councilor Ward No. 41 Sanjay Kumar Baru conducted extensive tour of Ward to review the cleanliness drive before the pious event of Maha Shivratri.
Sanjay Baru along with BJP Ward President Ashok Wazir, Booth President Jugal Kishore and JMC team visited residential areas of Anand Nagar, Surya Vihar and Wazir lane to review cleanliness drive before “Maha Shivratri”. During the tour, he also met and listened to the grievances of the office bearers of Anand Nagar Welfare Committee in a meeting.
Speaking in the meeting Sanjay Baru said that as the area is low lying, it causes frequent water logging in the rainy season. He said that the problem persisted since long in these areas causing inconvenience to the residents. He added that the irrigation channels are also converting into the garbage points which are also being considered seriously for the effective measures to contain the nuisance. He said that the preventive and corrective measures for the above problems are being considered under the deep drain constructed for about 4.5 Crore Rupees and the rest deep drain projects are already proposed to UEED under the upcoming Amrit-2 scheme.
Sanjay Baru said that this extensive cleanliness drive is especially being undertaken now before the pious event of Maha Shivratri. He said that the JMC is committed to help the residents of Jammu Urban with their own help as well to keep the Jammu numero-uno in cleanliness.
M.K Zutshi, President of “Anand Nagar Welfare Committee” appreciated the development works done by BJP Senior Leader and local Councilor especially for the upgradation of electrical infrastructure in the area which has solved our sufferings due to summer season existing since years.
JMC Supervisor William Masih, Nigran Sanjay Sharma, Ashish Gupta, Naseeb Kumar, Parveen Kumar, Tej Kishen Pandita, MK Koul, Chaman Lal Pandita, TK Koul, Ashok Bhat, Moti Lal, MK Kapoor, Parveen Chander, Chaman Lal Razdan, Pushkar Nath Raju, Virender Khushu and others were also present on the occasion.
