District Administration Kupwara felicitates meritorious students of Class 12th

Kupwara, February 17: The District Administration Kupwara today organized a function here today to felicitate the meritorious students of class 12th who secured top positions in recently declared board examination results.

The Deputy Commissioner (DC) Kupwara, Imam Din presided over the function while DDC Member Rajwar, Suliman Mir; Additional Deputy Commissioner (ADC), Kupwara, Ghulam Nabi Bhat; Chief Education Officer (CEO) besides, Principals of various Higher Secondary Schools attended the function.

Addressing the students, the DC congratulated them for getting best results in their board exam. He appreciated them for achieving the success during the challenging times of the pandemic and asked them to keep the spirit alive for more success ahead.

ADC in his address congratulated the students and their parents for registering better results in the board exam. He impressed upon the students to live with the spirit of hard work and prove their excellence in various competitive exams like NEET and civil services.

DDC Member and CEO Kupwara also congratulated the students and asked them to prove themselves in different arts in addition to excelling in their studies.

Meanwhile, various students also spoke and shared their experiences in registering the success in the exam and interacted with the senior officers.

On the occasion, 50 meritorious students were felicitated with appreciation certificates and cash awards. Out of these, 9 students who secured top positions at divisional level were given cash awards of Rs.5000 each and rest of the 41 students were given Rs.2000 each.

Girl achievers were specially appreciated on the occasion.
