Baramulla, February 15: In order to take a holistic review of the District Capex Budget, the Joint Director Planning (JDP) Baramulla, M.Yousuf Rather today chaired a meeting of the concerned officers at Dak Bungalow, here.
During the meeting, the JDP took a detailed sector wise review of works and projects being taken in the district under the District Capex Budget.
The meeting was apprised about the current status of projects and expenditure made so far during which he called for completion of all pending works by or before 15th March of this year adding that any lethargic approach will not be entertained in this regard.
The JDP stressed that work on projects stopped due to any impediments should be resumed on a war footing basis to ensure that these projects are completed in a time bound manner.
Moreover, he instructed officers that work on all ongoing projects be expedited and the tendering and retendering process of pending works is carried out without delay for early execution.
He also took a detailed review of Area Development Fund and the meeting was also apprised about the expenditure incurred on the projects so far.
The meeting was attended by General Manager DIC, Mohammad Asadullah Rather, SE R&B and PHE, ACD, CMO, AD Food, Executive Engineers from all engineering wings besides district and sectoral officers among other concerned.
