Jammu, Feb 15 : 2022 : Jammu Municipal Corporation (JMC), Corporator Ritu Choudhary ingurated Sulab Toilet complex in Ward-07 at Residency road with an expenditure of Rs 10 lakhs.
The toilet complex was in dilapidated condition since long due to which the residents, especially the elderly and passerby public were facing many problems.
Corporator Ritu Choudhary while addressing the media appealed to the general public to come forward and cooperate in any way possible with Jammu Municipal Corporation in various development works undertaken by the department within Jammu city.
She further encouraged the residents to avoid the use of single-use plastics, polythene bags in their routine work and not to throw debris, garbage, etc in the drains, lanes and nallahs.
Corporator Ritu Choudhary further adviced the general public to adopt the practice of segregation of dry and wet waste at their own level as it will help in further treatment of waste and which will in turn help us in making Jammu city neat, clean, green and beautiful.
The locals thanked the Hon’ble Corporator Ritu Choudhary for the new sulabh toilet complex and also for listening to their demands and complaints and taking appropriate action against them.
During the inauguration, local residents including S.Harbinder Singh (President, Veer Marg Traders Association) accompanied by Sh. Chander Sunder (Chairman) Sh. Sunil Kumar Sharma (Chief Patron), Sh.
