Rajouri, February 07: District Development Commissioner Rajouri, Vikas Kundal today called for adopting a proactive approach to address the developmental concerns of the public.
He was chairing a meeting to review the action taken on the decisions taken in the meeting of the District Development Coordination and monitoring committee (DISHA) held under the chairmanship of the Member of Parliament, Jugal Kishore Sharma.
Officers present in the meeting included ACR, Tahir Mustafa Malik; Commander 31 BRTF, KRJ Reddy; CPO, Mohammad Khurshid; PO ICDS, Kartar Singh; DSHO, Dr Sarfraz Naseem Chowdhury; MS DH, Dr Mehmood; ExEn Jal Shakti Rajouri, Mushtaq Ahmed; ExEn PMGSY Rajouri, Subash Chander; ExEn PMGSY Budhal, Abdul Gani and other concerned officers.
Discussing the issue of construction of a fish pond at Ujhan, the AD Fisheries informed that 8 kanal land has been identified but the work on the project is held up for want of funds.
About the widening of Kalakote- Siot road, the ExEn PMGSY Rajouri apprised that the DPR for the same has been formulated and the work on the road would be executed under PMGSY Phase-I.
Regarding Khawas to Dalheri, the ExEn PMGSY Budhal said that the road has been renovated.
For the identification of the additional beneficiaries under PMAY-G, the ACP informed that a comprehensive survey has been carried out and 42000 new beneficiaries have been identified for providing the benefits under Awas Plus
While reviewing the action taken on the culvert on Lam-Qila Darhal road, the meeting was informed that the funds for the culvert stands sanctioned and the work on the culvert would be executed in the next financial year.
Regarding the construction of PHC Building at Sair Makri, it was informed that the DPR for the construction of the said building stands prepared and sent to the Medical Education Department for grant administrative approval but the said approval has not been received as yet.
Similarly, a detailed discussion on other developmental issues was also held in the meeting.
