JK reports 4959 new positive cases, 368432 recovered, 2,03,28,501 Covid doses administered so far 11.73% bed occupancy across J&K

Srinagar, January 27: The  Government today informed that 4959 new positive cases of novel Corona virus (COVID-19), 1394 from Jammu division and 3565 from Kashmir division, have been reported today, thus taking the total number of positive cases in Jammu and Kashmir to 419731.Also, 07Covid deaths have been reported; 01from Jammu Division and 06 from Kashmir Division.

Moreover,6264more COVID-19 patients have recovered and been discharged from various hospitals including 3371from Jammu Division and2893 from Kashmir Division.

The Bulletin also informs that non ew case of Mucormycosis has been reported today, thus the total number of confirmed casesremains51 across J&K.

On COVID vaccination, the bulletin informs that 33,677doses of COVID vaccine have been administered in the last 24 hours bringing the cumulative number of doses administered across J&K to2,03,28,501.

According to the daily Media Bulletin on novel Corona virus (Covid-19), out of 419731 positive cases, 46657are Active Positive (11591in Jammu Division and 35066in Kashmir Division), 368432 have recovered and 4642 have died; 2265 in Jammu division and 2377in Kashmir division.

The Bulletin further said that out of 21121558 test results available, 419731 samples have tested positive and 20701827 samples have been tested as negative till date. Besides, 61,752 COVID tests have been conducted in last 24 hours.

Till date 5683819 persons have been enlisted for observation which included 13574persons in home quarantine including facilities operated by government, 46657 in isolation and 427058 in home surveillance. Besides, 5191888 persons have completed their surveillance period.

Providing district-wise breakup for positive cases reported today, the Bulletin said that Srinagar reported 841 cases, Baramulla reported 784 cases, Budgam reported 440 cases, Pulwama reported 135 cases, Kupwara reported 529 cases, Anantnag reported 299 cases, Bandipora reported 130 cases, Ganderbal reported 87 cases, Kulgam reported 295cases while as Shopian reported 25 fresh cases for today.

Similarly, Jammu reported 703 cases, Reasi reported 08 cases for today, Udhampur reported 31 cases, Rajouri   reported 68cases, Doda reported 162 cases, Kathua reported 23 cases, Samba reported 110 cases, Poonch reported 25 cases, Kishtwar reported 165 cases while as  Ramban reported 99 fresh cases for today.

Moreover, the bulletin also highlights that against the availability of 5038 dedicated level 1 & level 2 COVID beds, only 591 ( 11.73%) are occupied.

The bulletin informs that in case of any help, the general public can call J&K UT Centralised Health Helpline- Toll Free No. 104.In case of emergency, people can avail free ambulance services 24×7 by calling toll free number 108 while as pregnant women and sick infants can avail free services by dialling toll free number 102, the bulletin reads.

It also informs that the public can reach national helpline by dialling 1075.
