Kupwara, January 24: The Deputy Commissioner (DC) Kupwara, Imam Din today visited several areas of Lolab sub division and took stock of ongoing developmental works.
During the visit, the Deputy Commissioner inspected NTPHC Lalpora and took stock of the facilities being provided by the hospital administration.
SDM Lolab, Aijaz Ahmad; BDC Chairperson Sogam and other concerned officers accompanied the DC.
At Cherkoot, the DC inspected the under-constructed building of the Veterinary Centre and issued directions for its completion.
On his visit, the DC met several public delegations consisting of PRIs and the general public who apprised him about the issues of day to day nature.
The DC heard them patiently and assured of redressal of genuine issues.
Later, the DC visited the house of Jehangir Ahmad (media person), whose father had passed away recently. He expressed his condolences and prayed for the departed soul.
