Jammu, January 06: Information Technology Department led by it’s Secretary Prerna Puri and Chief Executive Officer, J&K e-Governance Agency, Amit Sharma, held an interaction with industrial associations besides visiting Incubation Centre, EDI Complex, Jammu.
Others who accompanied the IT team included J&K IT Consultant, Sanjay Gaden and Additional Secretary, Rajinder Kumar Khajuria.
The industrial delegation was comprised of Chairman, ASSOCHAM J&K, Manik Batra, Co-Chairman Jammu Committee PHD Chamber, Kuldeep Gupta, Director Jodhamal Group, Vikrant Kuthiala and others.
The issues raised by the delegation included setting-up of a Centre of Excellence in J&K, establishment of an IT ecosystem in sync with IT/ITES Policy 2020 for creating jobs in IT sector, conduct of IT Summit in J&K and related concerns.
During the visit to Incubation Center, Executive Director EDI J&K Anil Kaul and Project Manager Shivani gave a presentation about activities and achievements of the center.
The officers also visited different sections of the Incubation Centre.
