DC visits Devsar, takes stock of functioning of RSFP

Kulgam, December 29: The Deputy Commissioner (DC) Kulgam, Dr Bilal Mohi-Ud-Din Bhat today visited Devsar area of Kulgam to take stock of functioning of Rapid Sand Filtration Plant (RSFP) which is supplying filtered water to Devsar.

On the occasion, concerned officers from Jal Shakti briefed the DC about the functioning of the RSFP. They informed that the Plant with water source as River Veshow was functioning properly and has been feeding filtered water to thousands of souls.

Later, the DC visited Gund Ashmuji Bridge to oversee the progress made in development of the approach road of the Bridge.

It was informed that work on approach road is almost complete and the estimated cost of the work is Rs 87 lac.

The DC during the visit was accompanied by ADC and other officers.
