Srinagar, December 29: Risheesh Khajuria, a resident of Sainik Colony, Jammu has expressed his gratitude to the Lieutenant Governor, Manoj Sinha for mentioning his name in the monthly radio talk show’Awaam ki Awaaz’ and acknowledging his suggestion on Centralized Control Room in the capital Municipalities.
During the radio programme, the Lt Governor voiced valuable insights received from the various corners for drafting development policies as per the needs of the people and passed directions to the concerned departments in this regard, thus making the governance process more inclusive, participatory and people-centric.
Addressing the people, the Lt Governor also shared a slew of measures recently taken by the UT Government for the growth and prosperity of J&K. He called upon the people to discharge their social & moral responsibilities and complement government’s efforts in taking J&K to new heights of development.
While mentioning suggestion of Risheesh Khajuria that discusses the need for the establishment of a Centralized Control Room in the capital municipalities, the Lt. Governor observed that the administration has been instructed to work on replicating the Ahmadabad model of Integrated Command & Control Centre for our two capital cities.
Expressing his gratitude to Lieutenant Governor, Risheesh said that it was remarkable moment for him as the LG Manoj Sinha mentioned my name in Awaam ki Awaaz and acknowledged my suggestion. “I am thankful to LG Manoj Sinha, he took my suggestion in positive manner and highlighted that the work on establishment of integrated command control is in process”, Khajuria said with satisfaction.
Highlighting that Awaam ki Awaaz is a great platform to raise complaints or suggestions with the Lieutenant Governor’s Administration, Khajuria said that such novel steps bring efficiency in the public welfare system. “It is a single platform by which people can raise their issues and concerns with the government without any hindrance and can also share good ideas with them for betterment of society”, Khajuria expressed.
