Ramban, December 16: Government Polytechnic College, Ramban, Thursday organised an industrial visit for trainees of 5th Semester, Electrical Engineering and Electronic & Communication Engineering to Grid Station Ramban.
The students were accompanied by faculty members.
According to the Principal of College, Er Suket Gupta, the visit was organised to provide students an opportunity to get firsthand appraisal of the functioning of a technical organisation. During the visit the students got knowledge about the working of the installation and learned a lot in the practical training.
The Principal informed the students that this practice will continue in future and such exposure will also be arranged outside the district.
