Srinagar, november 26: The Director General (DG) Horticulture, Kashmir, Ajaz Ahmad Bhat today convened a meeting to review the implementation of newly launched Modified High Density Scheme at Directorate of Horticulture Rajbagh, here.
At the outset, the DG deliberated on the progress of the Scheme. He also took feedback from CHOs and private empanelled agencies.
The DG stressed upon the private agencies to follow the PeQ protocol in letter and spirit and directed the CHOs for its implementation in their respective districts. He urged upon all the Officers to complete the allotted targets within the stipulated time and said that any laxity on part of any officer shall not be tolerated.
He also instructed the Chief Horticulture Officers and empanelled agencies to hold joint awareness camps in order to disseminate information about the scheme to common masses. He further urged the concerned for early submission of JIT reports in respect of various projects established with the Government assistance.
The meeting was attended by Deputy Director, Assistant Director, and Chief Horticulture Officers of Kashmir Division and representatives of private empanelled agencies.
