Ramban, November 18: The weekly Block Divas meeting was held at Parnote-B Panchayat of Block Ramban where a team of officials listened to the issues of locals and informed them about development activities.
A detailed discussion was held on execution of works sanctioned by Rural Development and other departments for the area under different schemes.
Speaking on the occasion, Block Development Officer, Vishal Atri impressed upon the beneficiaries of PMAY-R schemes to complete their houses and install the sign boards of the scheme.
Responding to the issue of opening of AWAS PLUS portal, the BDO informed that this issue has already been taken up with the Government by the District Administration to facilitate left out people under the scheme.
Earlier, Sarpanch Parnote-B Kalash Devi and several others highlighted various local issues including liability of MGNREGA of 2017-18, 18-19, 19-20, 20-21 and execution of sanctioned works.
The BDO assured them to convey all their issues to District Administration as well as concerned departments for its early redressal.
Later, the BDO and Sarpanch urged the people to take their second dose of vaccination and follow Covid appropriate behaviour to protect themselves from Covid infection.
