Ghordi: While addressing a meeting of party cadres here today, Mr. Ranbir Singh Pathania, Spokesperson J & K BJP called upon the government to immediately resolve stalemate regarding stoppage/slow pace of works already sanctioned u/CRF. He said that many projects which have already been sanctioned and work also taken up u/CRF since years back have been pushed on the back burner due to non provision of voluble funds and work progress has been specially impaired.
More so, some projects have been stalled due to forest clearance and other allied issues. He called upon the government to immediately take a comprehensive review of all the projects which have been started u/CRF and call for their immediate operationalization. He cited Udhampur-Ghordi road which have been sanctioned u/CRF but the work has been impaired due to non provision of funds as well as forest clearance of a particular patch. Thial to Chountra Mata which is supposed to connect a very picturesque spot of utmost religious importance with road connectivity and vis-à-vis act as a viable road link in between Majalta and Ramnagar tehsils. The project is lying in a limbo due to forest clearance. Mr. Pathania also called for speeding up work on Dudu to Mantalai road. He called for immediate start of work on Sulghar to Dalsar Khas road. Due to unnecessary issues arising out of tendering, allotment and lopsided execution of works, the project is lying in a limbo since the last more than 4-5 years. It is a travesty of justice that road projects which stand sanctioned and started since years back are not being completed and started within stipulated time limits. He also informed that Rown-Ramnagar road, Chowki- Katwalt road and left over portions of Ramnagar-Basantgarh road, Sloh to Thanda Pani road, Sundla to Laa and many other roads are about to to be sanctioned and started very soon.
He further called upon the party cadres to penetrate upto the farthest limits of the area and ensure that people are able to reap maximum benefits of schemes of Modi Sarkar. Last man in the last row is our cherished goal.
