Srinagar, November 05: As part of pan India awareness campaign and outreach programme, the District Legal Services Authority (DLSA) Srinagar in collaboration with Urban Forest Division today organized a daylong Plantation Drive at District Court Complex, Srinagar.
The plantation drive was inaugurated by Noor Mohammad Mir, Secretary DLSA (Sub-Judge) Srinagar in presence of Syed Abid, DFO Urban Forest Division Srinagar and Maysar-ul-Zaman, Range Officer, UFD Srinagar.
Further, a door to door awareness programme was also conducted by PLVs of DLSA Sgr in various areas of District Srinagar on the same day highlighting the importance of Plantation and Forest Conservation for Sustainable Environment for future and present generations.
Staff members of DLSA Srinagar and UDF Srinagar and Para-Legal Volunteers of DLSA Srinagar were also present on the occasion.
