Kathua, November 05:- District Development Commissioner Kathua, Rahul Yadav today chaired the meeting of District Level Implementation Committee (DLIC) to scrutinize the applications under Mumkin and Tejaswani schemes held here at DC office complex today.
The members of the DLIC Committee comprising General Manager DIC, ARTO Kathua and Lead Bank Manager Kathua after scrutiny of the applications of the aspirants dreaming to be self-employed, approved 193 fresh applications under Mumkin scheme thus taking the total tally of approvals to 339.
The first 65 applications of women specific scheme ‘Tejaswani’ were also approved by the committee who will get Rs 5 lakh loan to start a business unit
Pertinently, JKUT government has launched two schemes of ‘Mumkin’ and ‘Tejaswani’ under the Umbrella of ‘Mission Youth’ to extend hand holding to the unemployed youth so that they can become self reliant.
The DDC called upon the members to create adequate awareness about the scheme so that eligible candidates can avail the benefit of the scheme from all parts of the district.
