Jammu: The process of joining AAP in its Jammu Regional office is gaining momentum every day as scores of young men & Women, from various parts of Jammu, including 20 to 25 people from Nowshera, with the sincere efforts of Mr. Ayub Ali from Nowshera, today embraced AAP as an viable alternative to the traditional Political Parties turn coats, who in one guise or the other, appear before the masses and later exploit them and leave to remorse and repent. The joining programme was organized in presence of Senior Party leaders & Core Committee Members S/ Sh. Om Partkash Khajuria, Convener, Jammu Province, Wg. Cdr. Mahesh Chander Sudan,(Retd), Farooq Ahmed Banday, Ram Singh Chauhan, Raj Kumar Nischal, Kuldeep Kumar Rao, S. Amrik Singh Sasan, Rajesh Gupta, Chander Parkash Sharma & Venit.
Various Sr. AAP leaders, while welcoming new entrants said that it is a matter of great shock & anguish that despite generating 2400 MWtts of electricity from three Mega Hydel projects the Salal, Bagliar and Dul- Hasti, around Rs 250 crores of revenue is going to government coffers per month but strangely people of Jammu UT are facing un-scheduled cuts quite often & people have been forced to reconcile with such man made hardships because either 80% of the electricity is being diverted to Northern grid for feeding Northern states or the rulers are not sincere to give respite to the people.
The release further informed the new entrants as also the general public that Delhi government has not the capacity to generate power to the extent of single unit but see the sincerity that it is providing 200 units free to the public as a gesture of social upliftment, the release said. They appealed the general masses to read between the lines and take a historical decision to throw away these spent forces in the coming Assembly elections as the poor & only poor people of both Jammu & Kashmir regions are the most suffers. They also appealed the youths to come forward and join & support AAP for a clean & pro-people government.
