EARTH NEWS SERVICE Doda, Dec 15 |15: Minister for Science and Technology and Animal Husbandry, Sajad Gani Lone chaired a meeting to assess the implementation progress on the decisions of the District Development Board Doda, here today. While stressing on the cent percent utilization of the funds available under various schemes the Minister impressed upon all the heads of the departments and sector officers present in the meeting to ensure implementation of all the DDB decisions in stipulated timeline. He asked for out of box thinking and innovations to bring out revolutionary change in the performance of the departments. Taking a review of the projects under tourism sector, Lone said that for generating the additional Government accommodation at Doda a project report for the development of JKTDC building near Dak banglow Doda should be submitted at an earliest and asked the DC Doda to do the needful in this regard. He also asked the Deputy Commissioner to project the pending un irrigated villages of the district for inclusion in the proposed lift irrigation schemes in consultations with the legislators. Lone also took a detailed review of various other mega projects in Doda such as Steel Girder Bridge at Thatri, Shiva Dal Steel Girder Bridge, Community Hall Doda, Court complex Doda , truck terminal Doda, and various PHC Buildings and directed the concerned executive agencies to stick to the time lines fixed for completion of these mega projects.
