Jammu Oct 16: IIM Jammu signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with NSE Academy ; a subsidiary of National Stock Exchange on October 16, 2021 to jointly offer various short and long term certification program in Finance and Allied areas.
Commander Keshvan Bhaskkaran, CAO, IIM Jammu signed the MoU on behalf of IIM Jammu whereas Mr. Abhilash Mishra, CEO, NSE Academy signed on behalf of NSE Academy. The MoU signing ceremony was held online and was presided over by Prof. B S Sahay, Director IIM Jammu along with Mr. Abhilash Mishra, CEO. In addition, faculty members, officers and staff were also present from IIM Jammu and NSE Academy.
Speaking on the occasion, Prof. B S Sahay said that this MoU will make high quality professional education and training in Finance and allied areas accessible to a wider section of aspiring professionals. He expressed confidence that IIM Jammu’s formidable intellectual capital and NSE Academy’s long experience in delivering online programs will bring in a win-win synergy between two organizations. He stressed that a collaborative approach is the need of the hour and in line with the New Education Policy, 2020 too.
Mr. Abhilash Mishra said that NSE Academy was proud to be associated with IIM Jammu, an institute of national importance and expressed hope that the collaboration will lead to innovative educational programs in Finance and allied areas.
