Kupwara, Mar 18: Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) Thursday organized a free medical camp at Halmatpora in north Kashmir’s kupwara district with hundreds of ailing people availing the medical facilities.
A spokesman of the concerned unit, 98 BN CRPF deployed in kupwara said that the free medical camp was organized under the direction of the Inspector General Of Police (IGP) Kashmir OPS Sector CRPF.
He said that on the direction of IGP Kashmir OPS Sector CRPF under civic action program, today on 18.03.2021, 98 BN CRPF organized a Free Medical Camp at Halmatpora village, Kupwara.
Doctor consultation and free medicines were provided to patients, the spokesman informed.
He informed that the Peoples of nearby villages also benefitted from this camp.
Notably, this was the 2nd free medical camp organized by the aforesaid CRPF unit in the northern belt of Kashmir with people from different areas availing free medical attention and getting medicines. Earlier similar camp was organized at Sohipora village in the same district to facilitate people with free medical consultation, the CRPF spokesman further informed.
