Five new positive cases report in UT Ladakh; 16 patients cured and discharged

Leh, Dec. 29: As per the media bulletin released by the Directorate of Health Services UT Ladakh last night, a total of five persons tested positive for COVID-19. Out of which three positive sample reports were received by CMO Leh and two positive sample reports were received by CMO Kargil. The bulletin further details that UT Ladakh has discharged 16 patients yesterday. Out of which 13 patients were discharged by CMO Leh and three patients were discharged by CMO Kargil. With this, the total number of COVID-19 active cases in UT Ladakh has come down to 198; 177 in Leh district and 21 in Kargil district.

The bulletin further informed that 556 passengers were screened at KBR Airport Leh yesterday. While 95 passengers including the drivers and helpers of trucks, tankers, and light motor vehicles were screened at Khaltsi check post on Sunday.
