Security agencies in tizzy after suspected ‘surveillance drone’ movement along IB in Samba

Jammu, Nov 21 : A fresh movement of a suspected “surveillance drone” along the international border on Friday evening in Samba district has put the security agencies in a tizzy.

Officials sources told  that said that locals and BSF troops along the IB noticed movement of the drone amid darkness.

“With the kind of light of the vehile seen by ground troops, it is being established that it was around 300 to 500 meters inside the IB,” they said.

They added that soon after the movement of this aerial vehicle was reported, an alert was sounded and entire area was searched but no untoward trace like that of weapon dropping was seen.

The officials further said that it is being suspected that the aerial vehicle was a kind of “surveillance drone”—(KNO)
