112 new positive cases, three deaths report in UT Ladakh

Leh, Nov 05: As per the media bulletin released by the Directorate of Health Services UT Ladakh Wednesday, a total of 112 persons tested positive for COVID-19. Out of the total positive reports, 104 positive sample reports were received by CMO Leh and 08 positive sample reports were received by CMO Kargil. The bulletin further details that UT Ladakh has discharged 71 patients yesterday. Out of which 60 patients were discharged by CMO Leh and 11 by CMO Kargil.

With the death of three more patients from Covid-19 in Leh district, the total number of deaths in UT Ladakh has gone up to 79 with 41 in Leh and 38 in Kargil district.

With this, the total number of COVID-19 active cases in UT Ladakh has gone up to 702; 581 in Leh district and 121 in Kargil district.

The bulletin further informed that 151 passengers were screened at KBR Airport Leh yesterday. While 17 passengers including the drivers and helpers of 15 trucks, tankers and light motor vehicles were screened at Upshi Check Post Tuesday. And, 239 passengers including the drivers and helpers of 94 trucks, tankers and light motor vehicles were also screened at Khaltsi Check Post Tuesday.
