KARGIL SEPTEMBER 11, 2020: A delegation of village Kukshow and Dargoo led by the former Executive Councillor and Councillor Chiktan Constituency Mohsin Ali called on the Executive Councillor for Agriculture and Health Muhammad Ali Chandan at Council Secretariat here today.
The delegation held a detailed discussion regarding various developmental works of the Kukshow and Dargoo areas like the installation of Jio Tower at Kukshow, reconstruction of motorable bridge at Dargoo, construction of new Medical Sub Centre building at Kukshow and water supply scheme Kukshow Broq to Kukshow with reservoir tank.
Other developmental works included the status of water supply scheme Pachari, link road from Lababs to Gyakkhew Kukshow, lift irrigation scheme from Dargoo to Kukshow, fencing around Spring Lhamo at Dargoo, link road from Gongla to Ribilik Chopochok, link road from Chechey Tapsa to Lehdo, opening of skill development training centre for the Women’s Society Kukshow and shifting of main electric line adjacent to main roads.
After thorough discussion on the above issues, the Executive Councillor for Health and the Councillor Chiktan Constituency informed the delegation that the matter with regard to the installation of Jio Tower at Kukshow has already been taken up with the MP Ladakh and Jio authorities.
The delegation was further informed that reconstruction of motorable bridge at Dargoo has already been sanctioned under SDP during the current financial year while the construction of new Medical Sub Centre building will be reflected in the Capex Budget 2021-2022.
Regarding the work item water supply scheme Kukshow Broq to Kukshow with reservoir tank, the delegation was assured by the EC Health that the PHE Department Kargil will be directed for its survey and preparation of DPR accordingly.
The EC Health further assured the members of the delegation that other issues will also be taken up with the concerned departments for survey and preparation of DPRs so that the works could be reflected in the Capex Budget and SDP next year for arrangement of funds accordingly.
Meanwhile, the delegation expressed gratitude to the EC Health and the Councillor for giving a patient hearing to each and every issued raised by them.
They also extended invitation to EC Health and Councillor Chiktan to visit Kukshow, Dargoo and Pachari villages in the coming days.
The EC and the Councillor Chiktan agreed to visit the Kukshow and Dargoo areas in near future.
