Beijing, September 21: At least eight people were killed and one injured after a fire broke out at a textile factory in Foshan city in China’s Guangdong province, authorities said.
Rescue operations were underway following the incident, state-run Xinhua news agency reported on Monday.
Authorities said eight people had died in the fire, while one person sustained injuries. Further details about the cause of the blaze were not immediately available.
