EC Zakir inspects residential remedial coaching classes in Shargole Block

Kargil, Sept 19: Executive Councillor, School Education, LAHDC, Kargil, Zakir Hussain along with Chief Education Officer Kargil on Wednesday inspected the residential remedial coaching classes in Shargole Block.

While inspecting the coaching classes at Govt. HS Skamboo, it was informed that a total of 6 students of Class 10th are residing in the residential class.

The students thanked the EC and CEO for starting residential remedial classes in advance. The IC Headmaster demanded for glazing of the veranda for the newly constructed school building.

At Govt. HS Wakha, a total of 10 students of class 10th are residing in the residential class. The students requested special focus to Math/Science subjects, for which the EC and CEO advised the teaching staff to give special attention to these subjects.

While interacting with the 12th-grade students at Govt. HSS Shargole, they emphasized the need for special attention to be given to the Science subject. The staff members requested the provision of an ambulance service for the institution to transport ailing students to PHC Shargole, especially during night-time emergencies.

Similarly, at Govt. HS Tacha a total of 11 students of class 10th are residing in the residential class. The staff members informed that the VEC members have provided the services of cook at their own level for the residential classes. The students complained about the non-availability of bathrooms.

The EC and CEO Kargil emphasized the students to take the advantage of the residential remedial coaching classes arranged for them by the UT Administration and LAHDC and give their best to achieve the goals of future endeavours.

The CEO Kargil advised the teachers to provide boiled drinking water to the students by taking the seasonal weather condition of the area.
