Leh, Sept 16: Lieutenant Governor Brigadier (Dr) B D Mishra (retired) on Monday greeted the people of Ladakh on the occasion of Eid-e-Milad-un Nabi.
“I wish my Muslim brothers & sisters & all Ladakhis very best on pious day of Eid-e-Milad-un Nabi. May Allah continue to show us righteous path on this pious occasion of birth of Prophet Muhammad, PBUH.I hope that this auspicious occasion brings peace,harmony & prosperity to all,” the LG said in a message.
Chairman and Chief Executive Councillor of Ladakh Autonomous Hill Development Council Leh, Tashi Gyalson also extended his greetings on the occasion of Eid-e-Milad-un Nabi.
“On this sacred day of Eid-e-Milad-un Nabi, I extend my heartfelt wishes to all my Muslim brothers and sisters, as well as to the people of Ladakh,” Gyalson said in his message.
“May this blessed occasion, marking the birth of Prophet Muhammad (PBUH), guide us towards righteousness and fill our lives with peace, unity, and prosperity. Let us embrace the spirit of compassion and goodwill as we celebrate together,” Gyalson added.
Gyalson’s counterpart in Kargil, Dr Mohd Jaffer Akhoon also extended the greetings.
“I extend my greetings to the mankind on the greatest blessing of all the time on the Birth Anniversary of Prophet Muhammad (PBUH). We must be determined to follow his teachings of compassion, kindness, and justice. May Allah bless us on this day to inspire practice, kindness patience, and humility, following in the noble footsteps of the Prophet (PBUH),” said Akhoon, the Chairman and Chief Executive Councillor of Ladakh Autonomous Hill Development Council Kargil.
The Ladakh unit of Bharatiya Janata Party also extended the greetings to the people of Ladakh.
“BJP Family members wishes all the Muslim communities of UT Ladakh as well as all people of UT Ladakh that this EID-e-MILAD brings you lots of happiness and prosperity,” it said.
