Leh, Sept 11: In a decisive move to strengthen law enforcement efforts in the region, Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Ms. Shruti Arora, IPS, chaired a crucial crime review meeting at the District Police Headquarters in Leh today. The meeting, aimed at streamlining police operations and expediting the resolution of cases, was attended by senior officials of the Ladakh police force.

SSP Arora highlighted the pressing need for timely case resolutions and strict adherence to legal procedures. She issued directives to fast-track the disposal of pending cases, a move that is expected to reduce backlogs and improve the efficiency of the law enforcement system in Leh.

Present at the meeting were Additional SP Leh, Deputy SP Headquarters, Deputy SP DAR, along with the Station House Officer (SHO) of Police Station Leh, and In-Charges of various Police Posts (IC PPs) operating within the Leh district. The session was marked by a comprehensive review of ongoing investigations and under-inquiry cases.

The discussions addressed several critical aspects impacting law enforcement in the region, with an emphasis on improving inter-unit coordination and enhancing the overall effectiveness of police operations. By focusing on these strategies, Ms. Arora aims to create a more responsive and efficient policing framework in Leh.

The directives and strategies outlined during the meeting are expected to significantly contribute to the strengthening of law enforcement efforts, ensuring better safety and security for the people of Leh.
