Leh, Sept 10: An eminent delegation from Heidelberg University, Prof. Dr. A. Marcus Nusser and Dr. Susanne Schmidt from the South Asia Institute, Department of Geography, recently visited state-of-the-art CISIC (Centralized Interdisciplinary Science Instrumentation Center) lab facility at University of Ladakh.
Their visit highlights the growing international recognition and appreciation of the University of Ladakh’s research capabilities and its commitment to fostering global collaborations.
During their visit, Prof. Nusser and Dr. Schmidt interacted with faculty and DST-Purse Staff engaging in in-depth discussions about each of the instrumentations available at the state-of-the-art CISIC lab facility.
The interactions facilitated exchange of knowledge and ideas, exploring potential applications of these instrumentations in geography and environmental science research. Prof. Nusser and Dr. Schmidt also shared their expertise and experiences, providing valuable insights to the faculty and DST-Purse staff.
