CEC raises issues of Kargilis with J&K CS

Kargil, Sept 04: Chairman and Chief Executive Councillor of LAHDC Kargil, Dr. Mohd Jaffer Akhoon on Wednesday called on Chief Secretary, Jammu and Kashmir UT, Atal Dulloo to discuss various issues concerning the students and people of Kargil.
During the meeting, Dr. Jaffer Akhoon highlighted the challenges faced by students from Kargil for admission in various paramedical colleges in Jammu and Kashmir, particularly in B.Sc. Nursing, diploma in nursing and other related courses.
Furthermore, the CEC brought to the Chief Secretary’s attention the urgent need for a registrarship for postgraduate (PG) doctors of different fields in Jammu and Kashmir UT.
The CEC also raised various concerns of Kargil residing in various localities of Srinagar especially in Khumaini Chowk.
In response, Chief Secretary Atal Dulloo assured Dr. Jaffer Akhoon that he will take appropriate action in all the matters taken by the CEC.
