Leh, Sept 03: The Animal Husbandry Department organized a one-day training program on fodder cultivation, conservation, and utilization at its Leh headquarters on September 2, 2024. The event was conducted in collaboration with the Regional Fodder Station, under the Ministry of Fisheries, Animal Husbandry, and Dairying, specifically the Department of Animal Husbandry, Fisheries, and Dairying, based in Shuhama Alusteng, Ganderbal.

The training saw enthusiastic participation from farmers across various sub-divisions, including Leh, Durbuk, Nyoma, Nubra, and Khaltsi. The event’s success highlights the importance of such initiatives in strengthening the agricultural practices in the region, particularly in areas where effective fodder management is crucial for livestock rearing.
