Leh, Sept 03: A new chapter in educational excellence was inaugurated at DIET Leh with the launch of a comprehensive training program aimed at enhancing Foundational Literacy and Numeracy (FLN) skills. Running from September 2 to September 4, the program is a collaborative effort between the CEO Office Leh and Nanritam Education West Bengal.
The three-day FLN training initiative seeks to empower educators with cutting-edge teaching methods and strategies designed to strengthen foundational skills among students. The program emphasizes hands-on experience and effective pedagogical approaches, ensuring that teachers are well-equipped to foster robust literacy and numeracy skills in their classrooms.
In addition to the FLN training, a specialized two-day session for Math and Science teachers of Classes 6 through 8 is scheduled for September 6 and 7, 2024. This session will focus on advanced classroom strategies, innovative teaching methods, and techniques to enhance student engagement in these crucial subjects.
Furthermore, a focused Math training session for Class 10 Math teachers took place from September 2 to 4, 2024. This workshop is designed to guide teachers in preparing their students for upcoming board exams, covering advanced problem-solving techniques, effective exam preparation tips, and strategies to improve overall student performance.
