Leh, Sept 02: Delhi Public School (DPS), Leh organized its annual Fancy Dress Show for its pre-primary kids. The event, which took place at the school’s auditorium, showcased the incredible creativity and enthusiasm of our pre-primary students as they took the stage in a dazzling array of costumes.
The event was graced by S. Thanglian Mang, Commandant Staff, Sector HQ, ITBPF, Ladakh as the guest for the day. The guest of the day was welcomed by Mr I S Batra, Vice Principal DPS Leh.
This year’s Fancy Dress Show was a vibrant celebration of imagination and fun, featuring costumes that ranged from beloved storybook characters to heroic figures and whimsical creatures. The event provided a fantastic opportunity for our young learners to express their creativity and build confidence in a supportive and joyous environment.
Each child brought their unique flair to the stage, with costumes including everything from fairy tale princesses and brave knights to colorful animals and superheroes even their Principal mam. The children not only showcased their costumes but also engaged in charming performances, including short skits and songs, adding an extra layer of entertainment to the event.
The Fancy Dress Show was attended by proud parents, teachers, and community members, all of whom cheered enthusiastically and celebrated the efforts and talents of the young participants.
“We are incredibly proud of our pre-primary students and their wonderful performances,” said Ms Priyam Shukla, Principal, DPS Leh. “This event not only highlights their imagination and enthusiasm but also fosters a sense of community and support among our families and staff. It’s a joy to see these young children shine and to celebrate their achievements.”
The Fancy Dress Show is a cherished tradition at DPS Leh, and this year’s event was a testament to the joy and creativity that define our pre-primary program. We extend our heartfelt thanks to all the parents, teachers, and staff who contributed to making the show a resounding success.
