Leh, Aug 29: Under the esteemed guidance of His Holiness Chetsang Rinpoche, the Ladakh Medical Aid Society successfully conducted a ‘Free Medical Camp’ in the remote Changthang Region. The initiative, a testament to the commitment to improving healthcare in underserved areas, saw doctors providing comprehensive consultations to over 850 patients, addressing a wide range of medical issues.
The camp was marked by a special ceremony where His Holiness Chetsang Rinpoche personally offered an Appreciation Certificate to acknowledge the efforts of those involved. The certificate was presented by Drupon Tenzin Rinpoche, highlighting the significance of this philanthropic endeavor.
The Ladakh Medical Aid Society extended heartfelt gratitude to Ven. Dr. Lhopon Hun Lye La and Mr. Caser Dorjey for their generous sponsorship, which played a crucial role in the camp’s success. The society also expressed deep appreciation to the Wesley International Medical Education Center (WIMEC) in Taiwan for their contribution of Tibetan Medicine, which significantly supported the medical services provided.
