Samba Aug 29 :- In a concerted effort to enhance security measures along the sensitive border areas, a high-level police team led by DIG JKS Range, Sh Shiv Kumar IPS, along with SSP Samba Vinay Kumar, DSP HQ, DYSP Operations, and SHO Samba, conducted extensive patrolling operations today. The initiative aimed at bolstering security and ensuring the safety of the border populace.
The day’s activities included rigorous patrolling sessions along the Samba-Kathua border, a region known for its strategic importance. During these operations, the team not only focused on area domination but also engaged with the local community. DIG Shiv Kumar and SSP Vinay Kumar took time to meet with residents in the border villages, discussing security concerns and reassuring them of the government’s commitment to their safety.
Furthermore, the senior officials visited various Border Outposts (BOPs) where they interacted with BSF personnel. This visit was not only to assess the operational readiness of the forces but also to strengthen the coordination between the police and BSF, ensuring seamless security operations.
