Leh, Aug 29: Promoting good oral hygiene and raising awareness about dental health among its students, Delhi Public School Leh conducted a Dental Health Camp in the school auditorium on Wednesday (August 28).
This initiative, in partnership with Global Dental Relief from Colorado, USA in collaboration with Lions Club International, Leh was designed to educate students about the importance of maintaining oral health through interactive workshops, demonstrations, and fun activities. The event featured an educational workshop where the renowned dentist and dental hygienist led engaging sessions on proper brushing and flossing techniques, the impact of diet on dental health, and strategies for preventing cavities.
Various hands-on activities including practicing brushing on models, dental health games, and viewing educational videos were also organised in this health camp. Each student received a toothbrush to encourage continued dental care.
“We are thrilled to bring this dental health camp to our school,” said Ms Priyam Shukla, Principal of DPS Leh. “Our goal is to empower students with the knowledge and tools they need to maintain healthy smiles and understand the importance of oral hygiene,” she added.
