His visit was met with an outpouring of enthusiasm from students, faculty, local villagers, and children from the Government Middle School Taru, who gathered in large numbers to honor the revered guest.
The atmosphere was electric as His Holiness arrived and was warmly received by Prof. S.K. Mehta, the Hon’ble Vice Chancellor of the University of Ladakh. The traditional Ladakhi welcome included the presentation of khadags—silken scarves symbolizing deep respect and reverence.
