Jammu 25 :- In a relentless pursuit against drug peddlers under Operation Sanjeevani ,Jammu Police made a significant breakthrough on 24-08-2024. During naka checking at ware house area by team of PP Nehru Market found one suspicious person coming from upper belicharana area and during checking recovered 19 grams of heroin like narcotic substance from the possession of accused person namely Dushyant Kumar r/o Bari Brahmana, Samba.
On this FIR No. 170/2024 u/s 8/21/22 NDPS stands registered at PS Gandhinagar and investigation has been started, marking a decisive step towards curbing the drug trade in the area.
The diligent efforts of the police team led by SHO Gandhinagar and ICPP Nehru Market culminated in the arrest of the accused.
