DC Kargil reviews arrangements ahead of Arbaeen

Kargil, August 20, 2024: Deputy Commissioner/CEO, LAHDC, Kargil, Shrikant Suse today chaired a meeting to review arrangements for the observance of Arbaeen in honor of Hazrat Imam Hussain (A.S).

The meeting covered various arrangements related to Arbaeen-e-Hussaini. DC Kargil instructed officers to ensure that all necessary facilities are available for the public and emphasized the importance of unobstructed access for ambulances during the processions.

The meeting discussed measures like power, security and water supply, deployment of doctors, ambulances, medical facilities, traffic management, sanitation of congregational areas and procession routes.

He stressed the need to adhere to the procession schedule and ensure the presence of volunteers. DC Kargil directed the concerned departments to complete all preparations in a timely manner to ensure the smooth execution of both congregations and processions.

The meeting was attended by SSP Kargil, Shree Ram R; SP Traffic UT Ladakh, Ishtiyaq Ahmad Kacho; ACR Kargil, Mohammad Sharif; Exen PHE, Mohd Hassan; CMO Dr Liyaqat Ali; EO MC Kargil, Razia Khatoon; AD Information Kargil, Raza Ali; Exn Mechanical Mohd Hassan, Headquarter Assistant to DC, Arifa Iqbal Lone; Accounts Officer to DC, Zakir Hussain other district officers and representatives from religious organizations.
