Cyber Cell of DPO Jammu Resolves Three Major Online Fraud Cases, Recovers Over Rs. 2.3 Lakh

Jammu 21 :-  Cyber Cell of DPO Jammu solved three separate online cyber crime complaints.

A complaint regarding  financial fraud to the tune of  Rs.1,00,000/ was  received  in cyber cell in which the complainant was asked to  review the basic amenities and service of hotels and according ratings and reviews thereof. But the whole exercise ended up in looting the complainant by adopting mischievous methods.

In another incident of the same kind a fraudster approached the complainant  telephonically and got Rs.  89,700/-transacted from his account.

In yet another incident of the same intensity this office was apprised through a  complaint regarding a financial fraud of Rs.60,000/- executed by a  trading  company which used not to return the hard earned money of the investors by adapting to unfair means.

With  the timely intervention and showing the professional excellence meticulously ,Cyber Cell DPO Jammu started timely investigations into the complaints through its professional wings specifically trained for the purpose and within stipulated time the teams constituted for the cause settled all the cases by displaying an ultimate display of professional excellence.  The teams  put on hold an aggregate amount of Rs  2,34,653/- out of Rs.2,49,700 which otherwise could have been misused and fraudulently transacted for various unfair means.

District Police Jammu, equipped with advanced technology and skilled human resource has been in and around for the common masses to mitigate their grievances in the shortest possible time.
