Reasi 14 :- In a significant move towards enhancing the welfare of police personnel, , . () alongwith families of Police martyrs today inaugurated the newly constructed Jawans mess for the Jawans of Police Post Jyotipuram at Jyotipuram. This initiative is part of the J&K Police’s ongoing efforts to improve infrastructure and raise the living standards of its personnel.

“The onus of serving society 24×7, despite the odds, lies heavily on our Jawans. This initiative is a small but significant step towards ensuring their welfare and acknowledging their relentless dedication,” stated SSP Reasi during the inauguration.

In a touching gesture, families of martyrs were also present at the event. Following the inauguration of the mess, as a tokens of love and affection in the form of gifts were handed over to the family members of martyrs by the officers, honoring the sacrifices made by their loved ones.

Additionally, a plantation drive was held under the theme “Ek Paed Shaheedon Ke Naam” (A Tree in the Name of Martyrs). This drive, conducted in loving memory of police martyrs, took place at Police Post Jyotipuram. The plantation drive served as a symbol of growth and life, representing the enduring legacy of those who sacrificed their lives for the nation. The drive was followed by the Lunch for Police martyrs families and other participants.

The event was graced by the presence of Addl. SP Reasi, Sh. Iftkhar Ahmed (JKPS), Dy.SP Hqrs Reasi, Sh. Neeraj Padyar (JKPS), DySP DAR Rohit Chadgal (JKPS) SHO P/S Reasi, Inspr. Chaman Gorka, and the staff of Police Post Jyotipuram. Their attendance underscored the importance of the initiative and the collective commitment of the police leadership for the welfare of its personnel.
