Samba, August 12: Continuing its drive against illegal mining, Police has seized five vehicles in the jurisdiction of Police Station Vijaypur and Police Station Samba which were being used for illegal transportation/mining of the construction material.
Police teams headed by SHO PS Vijaypur and SHO PS Samba while performing patrolling duty in their respective jurisdictional areas, have seized five vehicles including three dumper bearing registration Nos. JK21G-9245, JK21K-2595, JK21H-6765 and two tractor trolleys without registration No. which were being used for illegal transportation/mining of the construction material in the area.
The above mentioned vehicles have been seized by Samba Police and handed over to Geology & Mining Department, Samba for further legal action.
