Manwal Aug 12 :-  In a significant event marking the sacred onset of the Shravan month, Mr. Ranbir Singh Pathania, a respected leader and spokesperson of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), today flagged off a Yatra from Manwal to the revered shrine of Sudh Mahadev. The Yatra, comprising local pilgrims, embarks on a spiritual journey through the holy season, reflecting the deep-rooted traditions of Sanatana Dharma. Mr. Pathania, widely recognized as a commentator on Sanatana Dharma, emphasized the spiritual and cultural significance of this pilgrimage. He articulated the importance of promoting, propagating, and projecting the core principles of Sanatana Dharma, which is fundamentally rooted in tolerance, compassion, and universal brotherhood.Sudh Mahadev is a shrine of Historical and Religious Significance.

It is not just a pilgrimage destination; it is a sacred site steeped in history and religious significance. Located in the Udhampur district of Jammu and Kashmir, this ancient shrine is dedicated to Lord Shiva and is believed to be over 2,800 years old. The temple is situated amidst the serene and picturesque landscape of the Trikuta hills, making it a perfect blend of spirituality and natural beauty. The shrine houses a naturally formed black marble Lingam, which is worshipped with great reverence by devotees from across the country.The temple complex also includes the sacred springs of Pap Nashni Bowli, which is believed to cleanse devotees of their sins. The spiritual aura and the historical richness of Sudh Mahadev make it a must-visit for pilgrims and history enthusiasts alike.

Govt too has taken significant steps to develop and showcase Sudh Mahadev as a model tourist destination. Recognizing the historical and religious significance of the site, it has initiated various infrastructure projects to enhance connectivity and provide better facilities for pilgrims and tourists.These initiatives include the development of roads and highways leading to the shrine, ensuring that pilgrims can travel safely and comfortably. Additionally, the government has focused on creating a conducive environment for spiritual tourism by upgrading local amenities, promoting the region’s cultural heritage, and preserving the natural beauty surrounding the temple. During the flag-off ceremony, Mr. Pathania lauded the efforts of the Sanatana Dharma Sabha, Manwal, in organizing and promoting religious activities in the area.

He highlighted the Sabha’s role in preserving the rich cultural heritage of Sanatana Dharma and commended their dedication to spiritual and social upliftment.In his address, Mr. Pathania called upon the community to continue their noble work and contribute to the promotion of Sanatana Dharma’s values of peace, tolerance, and inclusivity. The event witnessed the presence of several prominent figures, including Mr. Nand Kishore, Chairman of Sanatana Dharma Sabha, Manwal, Mr. Somnath, President of Sanatana Dharma Sabha, Manwal, and other esteemed members such as Mr. Hemraj Gupta, Mr. B.D. Gupta, Mr. Babu Ram, Mr. Satish, Mr. Durga Das (Headmaster, Retd), Mr. Devi Das, Mr. Vijay Kumar, and Mr. Makhan Lal.The Yatra is expected to draw a significant number of devotees, further enriching the spiritual atmosphere of the region as the pilgrims make their way to the holy shrine of Sudh Mahadev.
