Leh 12 : – Former Member of 17th Lok Sabha from Ladakh, Jamyang Tsering Namgyal, met with Prof. (Dr.) S.K. Mehta, Vice Chancellor of the University of Ladakh, to discuss various matters concerning the university and higher education in the region.
JTN offered Khatags to Prof. Mehta Ji as a gesture of gratitude, recognizing his outstanding service to the University of Ladakh and his important role in advancing higher education in Ladakh. He acknowledged the challenges involved in establishing a new university and appreciated Prof. Mehta Ji for successfully leading this effort as the second Vice Chancellor, following Sh. C. Phunchok Ji. JTN also appreciated the support of the Hon’ble Chancellor, Dr. BD Mishra, Lt. Governor of Union Territory of Ladakh, and the guidance of Hon’ble Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi Ji.
