Kargil 12 :- Chairman of Reservation Commission for Actual Line of Control (ALC) Ladakh, Justice Bansi Lal Bhat (Former Judge High Court of J&K and Ladakh) today chaired a meeting at Council Secretariat to take assessment of basic facilities in villages near ALC in Kargil.
The meeting focused on assessing basic facilities in villages near the Actual Line of Control in Kargil. Justice Bhat discussed the historical context of the Constitution and the justice system, illustrating it’s role in advancing the welfare of marginalized groups.
He emphasized that the Indian Constitution’s core values of justice and inclusivity are essential and that no one should be excluded from the nation’s progress.
Justice Bhat stressed the need to ensure the welfare of all residents, especially those overlooked in past initiatives, and reinforced that justice must be accessible to every individual.
He highlighted the Indian Constitution’s legacy in shaping India as a welfare state through its reservation policies, which are crucial for social justice and equitable development, particularly in remote areas.
To ensure justice and fair treatment for villages near the ALC, Justice Bhat assured all possible assistance in his jurisdiction will be highlighted in his report.
Later at Conference Hall Baroo, he was joined by Chairman/CEC, LAHDC, Kargil, Dr Mohd Jaffer Akhoon, Councillors besides met Members of Bar Associations from Kargil District.
