Chairman of Reservation Commission for ALC Ladakh, Justice Bansi Lal Bhat visits several areas near LoC

Kargil 12 :-  Chairman of Reservation Commission for Actual Line of Control (ALC) Ladakh, Justice Bansi Lal Bhat (Former Judge High Court of J&K and Ladakh) today visited SubDivision Drass, Mushkoo Valley, Latoo and met people from Karkit, latoo, kaksar, and later visted conferences hall and met people from Kargil Town, Sodh, Poyen, Hudermaan and Yurbaltak.

At the Conference Hall he interacted with the villagers, stakeholders, respective Councillors, and senior citizens from respective regions. The interaction with villagers focused on identification of basic facilities in villages adjacent to Line of Actual Control (LAC) in the Union Territory of Ladakh.

Justice Bansi Lal Bhat threw light on the historical perspectives of the Constitution and the justice system, illustrating how these foundations have been pivotal in advancing the welfare of marginalized groups.

He stressed that the commitment to justice and inclusivity is central to the ethos of the Indian Constitution and no one must be left behind in the nation’s progress.

Justice Bansi Lal Bhat emphasized the importance of ensuring the welfare of all residents, particularly those who have been overlooked in previous initiatives. He stressed that justice must be accessible to every individual and no one should be left behind in the region’s development.

While highlighting the legacy of the Indian Constitution, he emphasized its role in shaping India as a Welfare State through its reservation policies. He emphasized the importance of these policies in ensuring social justice and equitable development for all communities.

Local residents from the border region brought to the Chairman’s attention many issues they have faced over the years.

Additional Secretary to ALC Commission, Tsering Mutup; ACR Kargil, Mohammad Sharif; Private Secretary with Chairman for ALC, Hamid Ahmad; Naib Tehsildar Sajjad Hussain; Naib Tehsildar, Mohd Ibrahim; Councillor Ranbirpora, Abdul Samad; Councilor Bhimbat, Abdul Wahid; Councillor Chuliskabu, Altaf Hussain; Councillor Kargil Town, Haji Abass; Councillor Yurbaltaq Manzoor and Councillor Poyen Mohd Amin accompanied him during the visit in different regions.
